Downtown Atlanta turns into the surface of Pluto, freezes all humanity I had grand plans to take a photo stroll through the city today despite the bone chilling temps. I walked a little over a block before being stunned by the freezing wind. The downtown skyscraper zone tends to have a considerably bigger wind chill than the rest of the city (my uneducated theory is that the buildings funnel the wind). Luckily Slice Pizza was open. So I am left with only a pic of the view from the restaurant. And some damn fine vegetable lasagna. Let’s take the chance during this sub freezing weather to consider donations to our homeless shelters. I recommend the Atlanta Mission.
