Food trucks in Centennial Park
Cool photo from abardis of food trucks in Centennial Park downtown!
I’ll sheepishly admit that, when the food truck thing started up in Atlanta a couple of years ago, I didn’t get the appeal. I’d never been to a city that had a food truck culture and Atlanta (the only place I’ve lived) had certainly never had one.
But it didn’t take long for me to get converted — now I love them. Yumbii, Sweet Auburn BBQ and Westside Creamery are my favorites so far and I’m eager to try them all.
My favorite thing is watching all the street activity that takes place around the trucks. Seeing people in ATL genuinely enjoying the outdoor, urban landscape as a destination is great. It’s good for the city.
